We must not look at goblin men,
We must not buy their fruits:
Who knows upon what soil they fed
Their hungry thirsty roots?

Vwah! Everything done by me. For a first set shot with my new equipment, I'm pretty happy with it.

I like the composition and the use of colour is gorgeous; but I think your glasses positioning detracts from image as as it cuts right across your front eye. [Yes I know I've mentioned it before; just one of my personal quirks. :)]

It's Canon's Zoom Super Wide Angle EF-S 17-55mm f/2.8 IS USM Autofocus Lens. Yeah, say that five times fast
Any softness isn't the lens' fault, though- it's reeeally sharp. It's more likely to be a hair out of focus, as I was using the timer and couldn't focus exactly where I was going to be. I'll be working on eliminating that problem, though- have any tips? :P

ok i got it. that's why i don't make too many selfportraits (above all problems like my face:P) cause no full control of scene and details as sharpness...

You are a figment of the imagination that shattered my past. I can't quite figure out who you are ..my innocence or my sanity?

Thanks! Well, on the plus side, at least my glasses are cutting across *closed* eyes, rather than open ones

Yes, that is a plus. :)

Oh, I just realized this is a self portrait, which adds to the technical difficulty - I'm impressed! :D

I think its lovely. Everything is well put together and the facial posing came across very well, especially considering it as a self-portrait.
it reminds me of Neverwhere-and I LOVE that novel.

Thank you!
I bought and read Neverwhere a few years ago because I'd heard it was a great book and, well, anything with urban fairytales catches my attention, lol. I was kinda disappointed though- it didn't seem to have the same level of flavour as Holly Black or Emma Bull's novels. Maybe I should reread Neverwhere and give it a second chance :\
