1.How do you get your hair that color?</b>
Every three weeks or so I use Special Effects dye in the color Blue Velvet, slap it on my blonde roots, and rinse it out in two hours. Voila! It's easy to upkeep because my hair is naturally light enough to not require any bleach beforehand.

2.Where do you get your clothes?</b>
Usually it's either directly through the designers themselves, or Ebay. Try these links:
Retroscopefashions.com
Artificeclothing.com
HMSlatex.com
electriqueboutique.com
sock-dreams.com

3.How do you do your self-portraits? Do you have any tips?</b>
There's numerous ways to take a self-portrait, most commonly done with the camera's 10 second timer. However, I've *never* had luck with that method.
I'll set up the lighting, design the set, configure the settings on the camera, and either frame a test shot to show the angle I want or set up my camera on the tripod. Then, I'll get into position in front, and either 1. nab a friend to be my lackey, and tell them to make the little red squares blink on my face (the autofocus, lol), pose, and they push the button to capture the shot. Or, 2. use a remote-trigger to click the shutter. Every two or three frames I'll come check to make sure I'm getting the shots I'm aiming for and make tweaks if necessary.

4.How'd you get into modeling/photography?</b>
I'd flirted with the idea of modeling for a long time because I wanted to make something more permanent with my day-to-day geishary, but didn't actively seek it out until after a photographer approached me on the street for a shoot. After that, I joined ModelMayhem.com and worked my way from there.
As for photography, I'd wanted to do it ever since I started modeling, but it took me much longer to properly get into it due to the prohibitive cost of acquiring a good lens/camera. I played with a shitty point-and-shoot at the very beginning, but it was frustratingly limited. I started seriously shooting in January 2008.

5. I'm a model/photographer- how do you get designers to work with you? Can you get them to send me clothes?</b>
1. I asked them, or they asked me, if there'd be an interest in working together. Seriously, that's it. If you consistently create great photos, then designers may be interested in working with you. But the point is, you have to go *ask them*. Not me. Them. It's called networking ;)

6. What do you look like in everyday life?</b>
A lot of the clothing in my photos is what I wear in real life, just subtract any fancy hair (I tend to throw my long hair up into a bun or ponytails; it drives me nuts brushing in my face when left down) or high heels (sadly, I live in a sketchy area where I need to be able to run or fight at a moment's notice. Intimidating steel heeled NewRock boots, FTW!).
Though, if I wake up late or am working, I'll be lazy and throw on black slacks and a comfy-scrubby shirt :P

7. Are you a lolita/goth/(insert social lable here)?</b>
Short answer: No, I do not self-identify with any one subculture.
Long answer: If I am "a" anything, I'm a decadent aesthete. This means I enjoy tapping into beautiful/striking/unusual looks, and much of that is found in subcultural fashion. So I won't get offended if I'm mislabled as goth or whatever else, 'cause it's true that alternative fashion is where most of my influences come from, but I'm not a part of any one scene. I enjoy too many different aesthetics to neatly fit into a particular fringe group, and I enjoy hybridizing between genres (so don't throw a hissy-fit if I don't wear something "properly"- yes lolitas, I'm looking at you, lol- I'm aware when I do that and don't claim it to be within the bounds of a scene).

8. Why do you wear glasses in your pictures?</b>
Because I like my frames and prefer how I look in them. It's really that simple- no deep reason behind my glasses fondness. I've been wearing the same frames for almost 10 years; they're as much a part of my face as my nose is, and, bonus! they help disguise any under eye circles that may appear from staying up too late, lmao!

9. What's the point behind your stuff? Where do you get inspiration?</b>
Daydreams made flesh or pictorial diaries, most of them. Some are pictures shot for clothing designers with little in the way of concept, and some swing 180 from that and have layers of meaning to be interpreted, if you want to take the time.
Most of my inspiration is found through drooling over the works of alternative, fetish, high fashion, and lolita clothing designers. Sometimes random songs, movies, or literary snippets play a role as well.

10. What's up with all the diptychs?</b>
I *HATE* the idea of cluttering my gallery with a bunch of shots from the same shoot. So, I'll take the best two or three and merge them into a composition to show the range of the set. That, and I like how diptychs imply a moment-to-moment interplay between photos; it gives the final image much more of a cinematic depth than can be achieved with a single photo.
However, my website AestheticAlchemy.com is now up and running, and I post up to 4 single images from any given set there. So if you have a real distaste for the diptychs, no worries: just hang around AestheticAlchemy.com instead of here.

11. ZOMG you look like *insert person here*</b>
Um, yay genetics? There's a couple of people I get told I look like regularly. Trust me, I've probably heard your comparison ;)

12. Can I use your pictures for...*insert whatever*</b>
Sure, if you purchase the applicable rights.
However, my photos are NOT free stock images!!! They are not for posting elsewhere on the internet, and for the love of god don't try to 'manipulate' them by adding textures or blurs and taking off the copyrights. I WILL hunt your ass down.
If you'd like to do paintings, drawings, or other derivative works based off one, limited artists' licenses are available for $15, which includes a larger sized digital file of the photo for your use in rendering detail. Please note me if interested :D

13. How do you do your makeup?<'u>
That's hard to answer, since I do it differently every day to suit my mood and my outfit theme. But, I have put together a tutorial that may be of some help:
