New journal entry, LIST-STYLE RAWR
I'm sick of seeing that old one from May

0. edit 7/14 So, I'd been trying to banish somewhat of a chronic infection for about 2 months with herbs and doc-in-the-box clinic visits...hadn't worked. I had to go to the emergency room last Saturday because it got bad enough that I couldn't wait until today to see a normal doctor (I was starting to have flank pains, and you don't mess around with that).
So now I'm on prescribed high power antibiotics and Vicodin for a kidney infection. Yay. It's made me damn nigh useless- I'm knackered all the time and I don't have the mental energy to do much more than go 'uuuuunnng' and zone out on anime. I hate being sick- this has caused me to fall behind on my shooting schedule (lol, can you see where my priorities lay?).
That, and I am unimpressed with Vicodin. I know it's a narcotic and all, but people actually buy this shit on the black market? It put me in a mild good mood the first time I took it and regressed my sense of humor back to 5th grade, but mostly it just makes me nauseous and hasn't worked as a painkiller. Where's the supposed euphoric effect?!?! I feel gypped.

1. Just recieved two latex outfits in the mail from the talented HMS Designs. Total yummmmmm. I'd forgotten just how luxurious latex can feel. I'll probably shoot at least one of them next Friday. (I need to get at least one Retroscope set done first though)

I'm looking forward to shooting Ego Assassin's new latex design in August too. Mmmmmm, slick rubbery goodness.

2. I'm a hermit. I freely admit this. I'm either a.) shooting, b.) working, or, most commonly, c.) at home sitting on my butt in front of my computer. So I'm sorely jonesing for some social interaction/conversation, as my real-life friends are never online :< Anyone up for chatting some time on AIM? Feel free to comment/note with your screenname if you don't mind me harassing you occasionally Don't be shy- I like meeting and talking to new people. And likewise, feel free to harass me whenever I'm online (don't be discouraged if I don't answer immediately; I forget at times to turn my application off when away ).

3. I've got wardrobe/accessories for sale. Note me if you're interesting in seeing what's up for grabs.
Out with the old, in with the new! I've got 3 loli dresses on order, and will be most excited when they arrive (not that I ever seem to have a chance to photograph fun lolita sets, lol- I'll try to make some time for that. Can't have the pretties languishing as casual wear only )

4. Antiseptic Fashions- I haven't forgotten you; I still owe you a few shots. Totally my fault for taking forever- I'd been avoiding your set because it requires compositing, and that takes me a looong time + lotsa effort. I'll stop being a wanker slacker and buckle back down on processing your shots immediately

5. Two awesome models, IO and Bad Charlotte, are swinging through Seattle at the end of July/first August and I'm going to be able to shoot both of those stunners. Spifffay- itll be my first time working with non-local talent. IO and I are doing a duo-shoot with Bytestudio on the 25th, then I'm going to shoot a fashion set of just her. Charlotte will be bunking over and we'll shoot around the 1st of August.

6. Have I ever mentioned I love my day job? I get to examine and catalogue old/pretty/rare books all day, work in the back room where I almost never have to deal with bitchy customers, listen to my own music (Inkkubus Sukkubus, FTW!), and my coworkers are AWESOME. Some of 'em are real unique characters too: for example, Sarah, with her nigh-encyclopedic knowledge of herbalism, and Bill, who owns/runs his own occult publishing company. I'm going to miss working here when I eventually open my own photography studio.

7. Pet peeve rants for another day: myspace culture, drama-marketing, people who answer what they think you mean rather than the simple goddamn question.
